Erling Haaland, Phil Foden and John Stones injury update shows that Manchester City could be without some of their star players during the next Premier League match against Brighton on Thursday. Although John Stones could be part of the team after returning to training on Tuesday, while others missed out.

The Cityzens are in contention for another league title with just six matches left for them to play this season. A win in each of the match will guarantee their fourth consecutive league titles, while both Arsenal and Liverpool will be forced to settle for position in the second and third spots on the table.

Meanwhile, a draw or loss in any of the six matches may take away the opportunity to make history by become the first team to win four in a row. Therefore, Pep Guardiola would like to have his full squad ahead of the match against Brighton and Hove Albiona on Thursday.

Unfortunately, the Man City boss may be without Erling Haaland. The Norwegian did not travel to Wembley Stadium with the rest of the squad last weekend. He last played for the Sky Blues during the UEFA Champions League match against Real Madrid. He started the match but couldn’t finish it as Pep replacement as a result of injury.

“He’s injured. I don’t think it’s much but he’s not able for today,” Pep Guardiola replied when asked about his star striker availability against Chelsea last weekend.

It seems the Norwegian is not ready yet after his absence during training on Tuesday. He was not among the City players who trained in preparation for the crucial league match.

Similarly, Phil Foden who was part of the stating XI last weekend missed out in training. The Englishman has become one of the best player among the City squad, therefore, Pep wouldn’t lose him to injury at this crucial part of the season.

John Stones on the other has returned to training. The England international was subbed off against Chelsea at half-time due to injury concerns. Meanwhile report says he took part in Tuesday ‘s training session amid his unending injury concern.
