We’ll Do Everything – Rodri Promises To Beat Arsenal In Title Race

Manchester City midfield Rodri claimed that they are ready to give their best to beat Arsenal in the title race with just a few games left to play for both teams.

The Premier League title race can be described as one of the most competitive in recent memory. What began as a three-way contest between Liverpool, Arsenal, and Manchester City has now evolved into a fierce battle between Arsenal and Manchester City, with Liverpool gradually losing ground in the past few weeks.

Arsenal currently lead the league standings with 80 points, one point ahead of Manchester City in second place and five points ahead of Liverpool in third. Despite this, Pep Guardiola’s team has a match in hand, making them the favorites to secure the championship once more.

The Cityzens have four remaining matches, and Rodri is confident that they will strive for victory in each game to secure the championship and make history as the first team to win four consecutive league titles.

“If we win the Premier League again, it would be history. No team in history has won four Premier League titles in a row and we want to be the first,” the Spanish midfielder told the club website.

“We need to keep those blue ribbons on the trophy, and we will do everything we can from now until the end of the season to do that.”

Manchester City were invincible last season, asserting their dominance in both domestic competitions and Europe to secure their first treble. Despite their achievements, Rodri remains resolute in his pursuit of further success, expressing the team’s unwavering determination to vie for additional silverware in the current campaign.

“We always focus on the next game and the next trophy we want to fight for. Of course, we are proud of the Treble last season, the four Premier League titles in five years, the UEFA Super Cup, and the FIFA Club World Cup this season, but we want more.”

Bukayo Saka Says Man City Can Drop Points In Title Race

A victory for Manchester City in their remaining four league fixtures would secure their position as the new league champions. However, Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka is of the opinion that City could potentially lose points, thereby providing an opportunity for Arsenal to gain an advantage in the title race.

The England international led his side to a 3-2 victory against Tottenharm Hotspur over the weekend. Speaking after the match, Saka insisted that no team is perfect; therefore, Man City can lose or draw against any of their remaining opponents.

“City are an amazing team but they’re not perfect,’ Saka told Sky Sports. “No-one is perfect. They can drop points. We just need to do our job and see where it leaves us.”
