Manchester City might lose of their best players following the report that Bernardo Silva has taken final decision about his future ahead of the forthcoming summer transfer window.

Report says the Portuguese has decided to resolve everything controversies regarding his career by the end of Euro 2024. The midfielder is reportedly avoiding any last day drama; therefore, he wants everything resolved in time.

Bernardo Silva became a player of Manchester City in the summer of 2017, and has since enjoyed many prosperous seasons with the Premier League champions. He has won all the possible trophies and played a crucial role last campaign, which may be deemed the most successful season of his professional career.

The City midfielder has reportedly singled out Barcelona as his next destination. He is keen to join the club notwithstanding the potential inability of the Spanish giants to meet his release clause in light of financial constraints.

A transfer to Barcelona will reunite Bernardo with his former teammates, who have recently made the same choice to join the Spanish club. He, however, could move to Paris Saint Germain, who have also shown interest in his service.

Ruben Dias Opens Up About Bernardo’s Transfer Speculations

Bernardo Silva’s Manchester City and Portugal teammate, Ruben Dias, said there have always been speculations surrounding the future of the midfielder every summer transfer.

“At a certain moment last summer I thought he might go but I always tell him that every summer we have this series which is called ‘Bernardo is going nowhere’,” Ruben Dias told The National during an interview.

“This is the third summer since I have been here and there is a new episode every year. I was really happy when he signed because if you want to win trophies Bernardo is exactly the kind of player you need around you.”
