The Cityzens on the 21st of September 1957 arrived at the Hawthorns Stadium to play a first-division match in front of 26,080 attendance at the stadium. The day would later turn out to be one of the heartbreaking days for the City fans at the Stadium.
The Cityzens were humiliated by the host. However, contrary to the previous biggest defeat, they managed to score two goals.
