Premier League Winners: Gallas Sends Message To Arsenal Fans

At the end of 38 matches in the league, another Premier League winners will emerge and Liverpool, Manchester City, Aston Villa, and Arsenal remain the teams contending for the crown after 20 league matches.

Premier League winners predicted by Gallas, ex-Arsenal player

Liverpool only won the title once in more than 30 years, therefore, a Premier League title for Jurgen Klopp’s men will be a great achievement. In the case of Arsenal, the league title has gone out of their reach for over 20 years and Mikel Arteta has the opportunity to become one of the greatest coaches for the club if he delivers the title.

Aston Villa are also competing for the league having put on an impressive display to stay among the top four with 18 matches left to play.

Speaking about the league title, William Gallas reckons Arsenal will once again miss out and did not give Liverpool and Aston Villa any chance to displace the defending champions.

The former Arsenal player predicted that Manchester City would eventually become the Premier League winners for the fourth consecutive time and become the first football team ever in the history of the English League to win the title four times in a row.

The Cityzens have made a promising start to the campaign, sitting second in the league after 20 games. The reigning champions are two points behind league leaders Liverpool.

Pep Guardiola’s men have won three league matches in a row and a perfect return of Kevin De Bruyne and Erling Haaland could be what they need to displace Liverpool off the top of the table.

“When the season started, I look at Arsenal and I said they won’t be champions this season. I said it will be City and look what happened on Saturday. They were losing 2-1 and then won 3-2, so it looks like they have the champions mentality,” Gallas told Gambling Zone.

Gallas does have high hopes for his former club next season: “I think it will be City this season but next season I think Arsenal has a good chance.”
