Player Declares He’s Having Best Moment After Leaving Man City

Former Man City player has declared that he is currently having the best moments of his career despite playing for the Premier League champions.

Ferran Torres, former Man City player

The Spanish winger, Ferran Torres, declared that he’s enjoying his time at Barcelona after he was involved in all the four goals scored by his side against Real Betis.

Torres joined Man City in a €33.5m deal from Valencia back in 2020. He had an incredible career at the City, scoring 16 goals and provided four assists in 43 appearances.

One of this spectacular performances came at St James’ Park stadium against Newcastle United where he scored his first hat-trick for the Cityzens in a 4-3 victory. The Spaniard demonstrated his ability to play as a centre forward in the first half of the campaign and proved his scoring instincts in all three goals he scored at St James’ Park.

However, it seems that Ferran will pick his hat-trick against Real Betis over the first one he had in English football as he described his display against the Spanish team as the best moment of his career.

“I think I’m in the best moment of my career, the most confident, the strongest mentally,” the former Man City star said as quoted by La Vanguardia.

“I arrived at the beginning of the season at my best, with a very different mentality. I was able to change a situation in which it was very difficult to get minutes and opportunities. So that people know that nothing is impossible, that it is necessary to work and that in the end everything comes.”

City were forced to release the winger in January 2022 when Barcelona showed up to buy him for €55m. However, life has been difficult for him at the Camp Nou, he only managed to score 25 goals and provide 13 assists for the club in 100 appearance.
