Manchester City defender, Nathan Ake, has sent a message to their opponents, declaring that the Cityzens are determined to win their fourth consecutive league title.
Arsenal are still hoping to win their first-ever Premier League title since they won it over 20 years ago, while Liverpool who had one in 30 years are determined to give Jurgen Klopp a deserving farewell by honouring him with the title.
However, Nathan Ake, declared that the defending champions are not yet tired of winning trophies and this campaign will not be different from the last. Therefore, the Cityzens will fight to the end.
Ake said: “When you play for a club like Manchester City and for a manager like Pep Guardiola the pressure is always there to succeed.
“Every single player in the dressing room, every coach and staff member wants to continue the success we have had in recent years. Our hunger to win never goes away and that is why we are fighting to win our fourth consecutive Premier League title. We will fight until the end as we always do.”
Manchester City have won 10 of their last 11 matches in all competition and will hope to continue the winning streak when they welcome Brentford to the Etihad Stadium in another Premier League clash.
Pep Guardiola’s side might be behind Liverpool with 8 points before their match on Monday. The Reds would have the opportunity to extend their lead at the top of the table with a victory at the Emirate on Sunday evening.
Arsenal on the other hand might move to the second on the table, two points behind Liverpool if they were able to secure a victory at home against Jurgen Klopp’s in-form side.
