Kevin De Bruyne's magic moment vs Newcastle United

The match was the first Premier League appearance of the Midfielder since August and it took him just 25 minutes to transform a losing City’s fortunes to victory.

The match started on a good note for Pep Guardiola’s boys as Bernardo Silva put City in front with a wonderful goal after converting a cross from Kyle Walker into the bottom of the net and gave Martin Dubravka no chance to make an attempt.

However, what seemed to be a good day for the Cityzens turned badly as they conceded two wonderful goals in two minutes. Isak controlled a wonderful long pass from Guimaraes, turning the City captain before powering a shot to the bottom corner and Stefan Ortega couldn’t do anything to prevent the goal.

Similarly, two minutes later in the 37 minutes of the match, Gordon powered another shot to the same angle after making use of another long pass from Burn.

In the second part of the encounter, all efforts to level up the score by the Citizens failed woefully until Kevin De Bruyne’s magic moment happened in the 74 minutes after coming on for Bernardo Silva at 70 minutes.

De Bruyne latched onto a spectacular flick from Rodri and kept advancing at a Newcastle defence who seemed terrified of over-committing. Instead, they stood off, allowing him to pick his spot and stroke the ball into the bottom corner from the edge of the box.

Meanwhile, De Bruyne’s magic moment is not yet over for the day. In the 90 minutes, he made a wonderful long pass from the middle of the pitch to meet Oscar Bobb who replaced Jeremy Doku. The Norwegian brilliantly beat the Newcastle United goalkeeper to put the ball into the empty net. What a fantastic comeback from the Cityzens again.
