Man City Meet Kylian Mbappe Agent In Shocking Transfer Move

Manchester City have reportedly met one of the representatives of Kylian Mbappe to discuss any possible way of bringing the France superstar to the Etihad.

According to Spanish radio network Cadena SER, Man City officials spoke with one of the forward’s representatives in an informal capacity on Monday.

This week, Kylian Mbappe informed Paris Saint-Germain he will be leaving the club when his contract expires at the end of the season. He will finally end his relationship with PSG despite the club President Nasser Al Khelaifi stating last month: “Look, I am not trying to hide anything. I want Kylian Mbappe to stay at PSG.”

“He’s the best player in the world and the best club for him is PSG. He is central to our project. We have done a lot of things, some have worked more than others. We have made mistakes and this is normal,” the PSG President said.

It was however confirmed that Mbappe will not continue to play for the Ligue 1 giants next season and Real Madrid seems to be his next club having emerged as the top favourite among many European clubs planning to secure his service.

Among the teams that have shown interest in the 24-year-old is Manchester City and the club met a member of Mbappe’s camp in Manchester on Monday, a day before the forward revealed his plan to his club.

According to Mail Sport, Madrid are willing to make Mbappe the club’s top earner, surpassing the £10.3m per season they pay Jude Bellingham and Vinicius Junior.

They will also pay a signing-on fee of around £85.5m and open talks over what percentage of his image rights he retains.
