Many notable players were missing as Manchester City captain Kyle Walker names his best teammates. One of the notable players that many would have expected the England international to mention is Kevin De Bruyne.

Kyle Walker - Man City captain

De Bruyne over the years has been regarded as one of the best players and many upcoming football stars look at him as a role model. The Belgian has played 370 matches across competitions for Manchester City, bagging 98 goals and 166 assists across competitions.

However, Kyle Walker believes he has played with many players with great qualities.

The Manchester City captain chose his former teammate, a legend at the Etihad Stadium, David Silva, as one of the best players he has played with as teammates and also chose ex-Tottenham Hotspur player Mousa Dembele as another best player among his teammates.

Walker told the Vibe with FIVE podcasts (via Sportskeeda

): “You pass him a ball, and he makes it look like a good ball – he makes you look better. David was so good. All-rounder, Kevin, but David individually.”

“David or, I’ve said Mousa Dembele countless times. He’s a scandal. The only thing Dembele didn’t have was goals and assists, but he had stupid talent- it shouldn’t have been allowed.”

David Silva had incredible years playing for Manchester City. The former Spain international contributed to the reformation of the team as the dominant club in England.

During his 267 games, David Silva has scored 54 goals and assisted 77 goals. He also holds the club record in the Premier League for the number of successful passes with 14,253, and chances created with 710. The Spaniard has won the Premier League three times with Manchester City, in 2011-12, 2013-14, and 2017-18.15 Jan 2024
